About Me
I'm Derek Cox — a cloud architect and technologist with over two decades in IT, spanning infrastructure engineering, consulting, and technical leadership. I specialize in data center migrations to the cloud, helping organizations modernize their infrastructure and move workloads to AWS. I've built and managed enterprise environments at AWS, Emory University, and Hewlett Packard, earning 11 AWS certifications, PMP Professional, VMware VCP, and ITIL Expert along the way. When I'm not architecting cloud solutions or writing code, you'll find me behind a camera chasing light across mountain ridges, desert valleys, and coastal horizons.
